Truly died on Thursday, I don’t think she ever really got over losing Jake.
Her deterioration was gradual, but more noticeable in the last few days. She was on the full dose of pain killers each day, but finding it painful and difficult to move around. Not wanting to go out for her usual walks, she preferred to pace around and around the garden if I let her.
Truly quietly and peacefully passed away as I held her head in my hands. Our Vet James and his colleagues so kind and caring.
Truly was my princess. She didn’t join us until she was five years old, but I know she has been happy here. She found her Jake, and loved him so so much.
At peace now my beautiful girl, I will miss you always.
